MediaPaint puts the awesome power of professional movie editing technology in your hands to let you create such effects as laser blasts, ghosted imagery, and video-on-video effects which, until now, could only be produced in special effect laboratories with very expensive hardware. Now you can make movie magic on your desktop computer in the privacy of your own home or office.
The effects you can produce with MediaPaint will give you the competitive edge when making professional presentations. It will also jazz up videos for private use, and generally astound your friends and co-workers.
To run the MediaPaint demo, the minimum requirements are:
1. 386 IBM PC-compatible computer
2. Windows(R) 95 or Windows NT(TM) v3.51
3. A hard disk drive with at least 20 MB of free disk space
4. 8 MB of RAM above Operating System requirements
5. A color monitor with at least 16-bit color (High Color)
6. A mouse or tablet
Except in its limited ability to save files, the Demonstration package is a fully functional application. You should note the maximum document size you can open, work in, and save with the Demo version is 300 X 200 pixels with a maximum of 30 frames. In the Demo version, documents can only be saved in the MediaPaint project format. When you purchase a full working model of MediaPaint, you will be able to open, edit and save any MediaPaint document you create with this Demo version. Although you cannot save MediaPaint files in an image format, (such as a BMP or JPEG) or a movie format (such as AVI), they can be imported into a project file. If you want to start a new project, or edit an old project, you can use MediaPaint╒s extensive assortment of tools to create your own movie. The full working version of MediaPaint will allow you to work with a document up to 4096 X 4096 pixels, given your system has the necessary RAM and hard drive space allocated for use.
Also included on this CD are several sample movies done with tools and filters from Special Effects Pack Vol.1, a set of plug-ins specifically for MediaPaint. Included in the samples, you'll see electrical arcs, bubbles, lightning, fire and more -- all easily generated with these new tools and filters. The Special Effects Pack Vol. 1 is sold separately.
